Almond Shortbread
- 1/4 lb room temperature unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup confectioners sugar
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup almonds, finely ground
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Place all ingredients in a mixer with a paddle and mix until smooth. (If you have arms the size of Arnold, feel free to mix by hand) Press into a 12" round baking pan, making sure the shortbread is as even as possible. Bake until shortbread is just beginning to brown, about 40 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before serving
