Basic Vinaigrette Dressing
- 1/2 tbsp finely minced shallots
- 1/2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 tbsp wine vinegar
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup olive oil or other fine fresh oil
- Freshly ground pepper
Instructions
Shake all ingredients together in a cruet or jar. Correct seasonings with salt, pepper, or lemon juice.
