Steak Pizziole
- 1 Top Round Steak
- Olive oil
- Thin Sliced Onion
- 432 Garlic Cloves
- Red Wine
- Crushed Tomatoes
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oregano
Instructions
Drizzle a little olive oil into a sauté pan over medium heat. Season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper. Quickly sear 1 side of the steak. Turn over, and add onions and garlic. Sauté until onions are translucent. Add 1/2 cup of red wine, and 1 cup of crushed tomatoes. Turn heat to low, and simmer until sauce has reached desired consistency. Season to taste with salt, pepper and oregano. ENJOY!!! Quick and easy, and full of flavor. This dish needs a very hearty red wine, like a Barolo or a Barbaresco from Italy, or a big Cabernet from California.
