Griddle Oysters with Two Ketchups
- 2 dozen raw oysters
- ? cup River Run Garlic Sauce
- 1-2 sleeves saltines
- oil
- River Run Red & Green Tomato Ketchup
Instructions
Marinate a couple of dozen raw oysters in River Run Garlic Sauce in the refrigerator, covered for at least an hour and as long as overnight. Crush until very fine, a sleeve or two of Saltine Crackers into a medium to large mixing bowl and add a little black pepper. Remove the oysters from the River Run Garlic Sauce and dredge them one by one into the cracker crumbs. Place a small amount of oil on the griddle or a cast iron pan to medium high heat. Cook the breaded oysters, turning often, until they are browned and sizzling. Serve with River Run Red & Green Tomato Ketchup.
