Fresh Basil Marinara Sauce

• 1 cup chopped onion
• 12 cloves garlic thinly sliced
• 1/2 cup olive oil
• 2 1/2 cups firmly packed basil leaves
• 2 28oz cans Kitchen Ready Tomatoes
• 1 28oz can crushed tomatoes
• 1tsp Balsamic vinegar
• salt to taste

Instructions

Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil in a 5qt non-reactive saucepan over medium heat until onion is translucent. Add basil and sauté for 3 minutes or until wilted and very aromatic. Stir in tomatoes. Season with salt to taste. Heat over a medium heat until just bubbling. Toss with you favorite pasta.
