Bisteccha alla Torinese
- 4ea 8-10oz Sirloin Filet
- 2 cans Cannelini Beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup White Wine
- 3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 2 tbs Chopped Parsley
- 1 tsp fresh Lemon Juice
- PINCH Ground Nutmeg (any more and it will overpower the dish)
- 4 tbs fresh prepared Pesto Sauce
Instructions
Fire up the grill. In a saute pan, add the olive oil and saute garlic until just starting to turn brown. (Do not burn!!) Add Canelinni beans and quickly saute until just warmed through. Add White wine and lemon juice, stir, and take off burner. Grill steak the desired degree of doneness. When steaks are done, let rest for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, return beans to the burner and bring to a rapid boil. Add the fresh parsley and season to taste with nutmeg, salt and pepper. Divide bean mixture between 4 plates. Place sirloin filet in middle of bean mixture and spoon 1 tbs of fresh pesto over each steak. Enjoy!!
