Bing Cherry Relish
- 1 1/2 lb Cherries fresh & pitted
- 2 ea Apple peeled & minced
- 2/3 c Apple vinegar
- 1/2 ts Cloves powdered
- 1 c Onion chopped
- 1 ts Dry mustard
- 1 ts Cinnamon powdered
- 1 c Sugar packed firm
Instructions
Put vinegar into a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Add all other ingredients. reduce heat to med-low and boil slowly for 45-mins. Be sure to stir regularly while cooking. Remove from heat, allow to cool for 1-2 hours. Place in a sealed container & refrigerate. Very good with meat or poultry. Especially good with pork or lamb.
