Barbecue Sauce Kansas City Style
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter
- Add 1 onion diced
Cook for 5 minutes/until transparent
- Add 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 cup catsup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 cup water
- Season to taste with salt/pepper
Instructions
Cover and cook for 20 minutes. Can pour sauce over browned ribs and bake until tender - 45 minutes to an hour
